What to expect from a new trade agreement

Trade negotiators are moving to a new round of negotiations on the Trans-Pacific Partnership, a sweeping global trade pact that would include 11 countries including the United States and Canada.

Key points:The United States, Canada, Mexico and 10 other countries are expected to sign the agreement by the end of the yearIf all the parties fail to reach an agreement by then, the United State could withdraw its request for the United Nations to be involved.

The negotiations are expected soon to begin on a Trans-Atlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) deal between the United Kingdom, Canada and the European Union.
