The new version of Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant is finally here, and it’s not the same thing as it was last year.
Amazon’s updated Alexa app will now automatically use the latest version of the Amazon Cloud Fire TV device as the default device when using Alexa on your smart TV.
You can still set it up on your own by going to Alexa’s Home screen and choosing “Alexa on the TV.”
However, it’s worth noting that the updated app is still just the first step in an entirely new set of services and features that Amazon has promised for Alexa’s Alexa-enabled Echo smart speaker, the Echo Dot.
Amazon has also made it easier for you to customize Alexa to make it a little more convenient to use.
This new feature allows you to set it to play music, or play podcasts, or do any number of other actions.
This is the first time we’ve seen an updated version of Alexa for the Echo smart speakers, and we’re already excited to see how it will perform with other Echo devices.
Alexa has been in development for a long time, and you can find more details about the project here.
